Banana on Hair - The Ugly Truth

I recently got my hair colored in choclate brown as I have very dark black hair no one would even notice that, just my highlights got a bit colored up anyways....
If you are planning to color your hair just for fun and you do NOT have a  hair greying problem, DON'T DO IT.
I choose the L'oreal Casting creme gloss praying that it wont dry out my hair but it did and although I used the inbuild conditioner and color protect shampoo the hair is just so coarse and dry I am putting them in a pony.

Anywas so that was about the Damage... I knew that there needs to be a good repair treatment to save my long tresses from the ugly rubber band and those Bobby pins...

So I started Hunting for a Homemade damage repair therepy for dry hair and when you do that the most common one you will see is the Banana and Honey.

I tried that and I am still not sure it that worked well, all you gotta do is take some banana (riper one) mash it and mix it with a teaspoon of honey and apply it to hair wash after 25 minutes.

Its not as easy as it sounds, the banana needs to be mashed in the blender and made a very very thin paste then mixed with honey and applied as i didnt know this (unfortunalty) I just used my palms to mash the fruit and applied it all over the more chunky pieces were mashed when they were on my hair.
This was a mistake those peices were so sticky they never came out even when i shampooed my hair twice they were still there, I applied the conditioner and still those sticky morons wouldnot come out ... I had to come out of the shower and wait until my hair dried up but still the chunks remain until the hair was really really dry and I had to remove the residue with a fine toothed comb and it took a lot of time for everythng to come out, do not ask about the hair breakage :'(

please donot try banana on hair until you have mashed it to a paste such thin as milk to wash it off.
I will be trying other homamade recipies as well and post the outcome.

hope this helps.

Online shopping

I recently found myself to be very addictive to online shopping in past few months I wouldn't give up looking into the site for new offers / sales / freebies. to face it i have had the good, the bad, and the ugly.

It started with the www.ebay.in as its globally a renowned brand like amazon which isnt yet available in India I started buying small stuff like accessories and  makeup from there and them apparels, trust me ebay.in will take about an year or more to showcase the quality and variety like ebay.com or ebay.co.uk

So when the items came and if they were damaged it was replaced .. but the apparel quality shown and written in description didnt match this made me stay away from shopping for apparels and shoes on ebay.

Fortunatly I came across another site which provided High quality apparel brand which was economic and yeahhh free shipping and I really think you should check it out http://www.zovi.com
The quality is amazing and they provide free shipping all over India.

Thats Grand!
Another few site you should check out is www.yehbhi.com if you are really brand conscious and need great deals on them, I found this site cool for collage students as it contains mostly sporty stuff.
www.myantra.com is another leading name but one of my friend swears that they have the coolest return policy like if you order a shoe and its a different size they send a pickup courier how cool is that.

So pros and Cons time.
--------------------------------

Pros:
1.online shopping makes life easy, gets you great deals, big brands and gets  you a global product.
2. you get the product at home, some sites do mention that if he product  received isn't the same you can return it to the same courier guy who can take it back and you can demand a refund or replacement.
3. you can pay COD cash on Delivery if you do not trust a new site

Cons:
1. buying apparels and shoes can be risky with the size as we have UK small and US small I am not sure what do I choose ... hey I am Indian ... do you have India S
2. Paying with credit cards is something not everyone is comfortable with
3. received product might not be the one that has been shown.

TIPS for Online Buyers:
------------------------------

1. Paying with credit / debit cards can be risky, check for COD or secure connection in the website meaning site shows https:// while you make payments.

2. For ebay consumer always check your sellers location and phone number is specified in the virtual shop and make sure you have 100 positive feedback about the seller from other buyers.

3. Check your product in front of the Delivery Guy and return if there is even slightest mistake.

4. Make sure you have the support info of the site like email support or callcenter info keep it handy.

5. Note when was your product supposed to be Delivered and save the date on phone or calender be pro active to inform the customer support if there is a delay in delivery.

6. Check out for EMI options and finance while purchasing electronic items so that the involved banks authorize the payment.

7. check for original bills/ guarantee and warranty slips for electronic goods.

H.E.L.P

I missed my cab to office today so I traveled by a bus and then a Rickshaw to office today, while getting down at Vashi station and paying the fare there were at least 3 beggar kids who pounced to my rick from all directions, before I could say or do something the rick driver shouted at them and they all stepped back, well that was not the end of the story, when I got down they followed me and started dragging and nagging and touching and begging, I reached to my wallet as gave one of them a coin, Kid 1 got a coin and flee from the place in no time, Kid 2 made faces and went after Kid 1, Kid 3 was a Melodrama queen, she started shouting and crying and stomping on ground, I was damn surprised and I have my mouth open in form of a full ‘O’, she layed down on ground and started rolling with her little dirty clothes, (of course I can see a kid or anyone like that) I reached to her and picked her up but she refused to be touched….
Of course that did create a scene for all the people around and the pedestrians, finally I picked her up, and dragged her to nearby fast-food staff and offered her a vadapav which made her quite and me relaxed.

The bottom line is never give money to the beggar children; why? It promotes them, and their parents send them so that they get good earnings as people pity on children as sympathize better then over an adult

In case you see a beggar child and you really want to give him or her something, buy something to eat and give them, anything like biscuits, chocolates, vadapav anything even old clothes, but do not give them money as this is going to ruin their career as permanent child beggars
